Cahuita National Park

Cahuita National Park was created to protect the 780 acre coral reef.

Entrance: The best entrance to the park is from Cahuita, next to the Cahuita National Park Hotel.

 

Best swimming beach: A few hundred meters inside the park is either side of the Lazy River- Rio Perezoso. At Puerto Vargas at the southern end of the park is a beautiful white sand beach with good snorkeling.
